The Global Student Success Program is meant for all the international students who wish to pursue or finish their university degrees in the United States but find a lot of fears or apprehensions circling them. It is meant for students who are worried about how they will cope at an overseas university or how will they communicate when they are not as proficient in English as they would like to be. Also, the entry requirements of the program are quite flexible. The new applications are responded to quite quickly and there are multiple intakes available throughout the year. On top of all this, the assured progression that the program offers to a degree program at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth increases the appeal of the program a lot.

Reasons for the international students to attend the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth:

It is only natural for a student to be extremely curious about the college that he is planning to go to. In fact, the research that a student conducts before actually joining the college is really important for the entire process. This research sheds light on a lot of factors that are very important for the students to know about a place where they are going to spend a substantial amount of time in their lives. But many times, it so happens that this research puts the students in a confused state of mind.

In the simplest of words, deciding where to attend college is very difficult. The process is not easy at all for any student. But it does not take away from the fact that for international students, it is a bit more difficult and time-consuming. The reason for this is that the students living in the same country as the college obviously have some idea about the tradition, rankings, and quality of education of the college. However, international students usually have little idea about the study destination and the institute. There are certain expectations that we all have from our dream institute. At the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, one finds all these qualities and elements and much more.

Some of the reasons why you would want to attend the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth are:

  1. Great quality of education

The quality of education is one of the most important factors that one takes into consideration while deciding upon a college. No international student in the world would travel hundreds of miles to take admission into a college that offers the average quality of education. At the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, the students get access to great quality of education. The institute is a nationally ranked doctoral research university and is widely recognized as a prestigious institute. This is perhaps one of the biggest reasons for the college to have such a high appeal among the international pool of students.

The resources available at the university are meant to boost and enhance the entire experience that the students get while they stay at the campus. With a high focus on research, the institute becomes a healthy choice for all the students who wish to do something groundbreaking in research. Also, the university boasts world-className faculty members who are experts in their respective fields and possess years of teaching experience. The university has a longstanding tradition of producing graduates who easily overcome the obstacles that they face out there in the market. With all these qualities, the university becomes the right fit for any student who is looking for amplification in his career.

  1. Diversity among the students

Although the diversity in the student community may not matter much to the native students, it is perhaps the most comforting element of a college for international students. It is very important for all of us to understand that traveling to a new country altogether to study and pursue a course is not easy. It is not a transition that everybody can endure. Therefore, it is only natural that an international student carries with him a huge load of apprehensions, fears, and confusion as he crosses borders. These apprehensions are about the people that he is about to meet, the professors, the surroundings, the behaviors, and every other tiny little thing. In such a situation, the diversity in the student community at a campus proves to be of great help. It helps international students believe that they are not alone. At least, there are several others going through the same things as they are.

At the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, this diversity not only exists but thrives with every second. The student body is composed of students from 47 states of the United States and as many as 53 countries all over the world. With such diversity, the university offers all the elements that the international students need to get comfortable and enjoy their stay at the campus and concentrate on their academics.

  1. A high return on investment

One of the many things that prove to be a huge obstacle for students around the world to pursue a course or degree away from their country is the expenditure involved. It is no secret that not every family can afford to have their kid study in a world-className institute because of the high tuition involved. However, for international students, this cost and this obstacle are again a bit larger. The students from parts like Asia and Africa find it difficult to pursue a course of their choice in an institution located in the United States of America because of the drastic difference in the strengths of the currencies.

The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth offers a great quality of education at very low tuition and fees. Moreover, there are several financial aid options available for the students to avail. As many as 84% of the undergraduate who applies for financial aid receive it. Thus, the students studying in this institute receive a very high return on investment. And because of this ROI, the institute becomes a tempting institute for international students.

Moreover, there are more than 150 student clubs active on the campus. These student organizations also prove to be really helpful for international students to settle down and feel comfortable. They also lead to the students forming friendships earlier in their college lives.

With all these elements, it is safe to say that the University of Massachusetts is a decent choice for international students.
