Human Resource Management – Change in the Labor Force
Change in the Labor Force
The labor force is a general way to refer to all the people willing & able to work. For an organization, the internal labor force consists of the organization’s workers – its employees & the people who work at the organization. The internal labor force is drawn from the organization’s external labor market, that is, individuals who are actively seeking employment. The number & kinds of people in the external labor market determine the kinds of human resource available to an organization.
