Assignment 3
Analytical Report on Web Accessibility
1. Purpose
This assignment will demonstrate your ability to independently conduct research on web accessibility and to present the results.
2. Requirements
This assignment requires that you analyse the accessibility of the website you built in Assignment 2 and write a report to present the results of the analysis.
The accessibility of the website should be analysed against the principles introduced in WCAG 2.0, including:
- Perceivable – Information and user interface components must be presentable to users in ways they can perceive.
- Operable - User interface components and navigation must be operable.
- Understandable - Information and the operation of user interface must be understandable.
- Robust - Content must be robust enough that it can be interpreted reliably by a wide variety of user agents, including assistive technologies.
Your report must be professionally written (1000~1500 words). Table 1 presents the suggested structure for the report and the content for each section of the report.
