• MLA Referencing. Most commonly is used in countries like the USA.
• Harvard Referencing: The concept of Harvard Referencing was brought in by a zoology professor of Harvard. Harvard Referencing System is straightforward
• APA Referencing: This style includes the name of the author, date of publishing, the title of the work.

• Vancouver Referencing: There is no in-text citation for this referencing style.

Oxford Referencing is one of the types of reference that is used for a citation. To begin with the citation. A citation is a way of giving information regarding the source to the readers. While writing a research or article a good writer will search and gather useful information to quote inside a text. Oxford comprises of the two parts:

In-text citation: In-text citation consists of a superscript number in the text. A shorten text is also used at the bottom of the page. Inclusion of every secondary source that has been added in the text or footnotes and other work that is considerate must be added in the bibliography. The bibliography shows the research work of the individual.

Oxford is one of the types of referencing that uses footnotes to provide information to the reader. A superscript of number would be added to the information written in the text and the subsequent number will be used as the transcript at the bottom of the page with the relevant information. The reference will be added at the end of the report to give the reader complete information. Oxford referencing has similar features as that of the Chicago referencing. The difference is that Chicago referencing has two types of structure One is the author-date structure and the other one is notes and bibliography structure. But Oxford on the other hand just one structure which is like the notes and bibliography format of the Chicago style.
