• Discuss why IT is a major enabler of business performance and success and why IT job prospects are so strong. Describe the nature of these IT jobs.
• What do you see as the most dominant IT jobs in the next 15 years?

It is a major enabler of business performance and success because the majority of businesses today are both remote and online. Everything is more technology based. Who would have though 2o years ago that we would be able to schedule Doctor appointments online or video chat with a doctor instead of going to the hospital? I myself am guilty of scheduling appointments online and emailing the Doctors office to change or cancel an appointment. I am not hoping but maybe in 15 years there may be an app to scan your body and you will be able to send it to the doctor.
