Task(s)
The module covers significant topics ranging from marketing research, costing and budgeting, manufacturing systems, production planning and scheduling, human resource planning, maintenance and reliability, and simulations. This task will enable student to critically assess a real scenario in various industries by application of different theories and analysis tools in industrial studies module. Each student will be assigned with a case study and is expected to critically evaluate the case, and prepare a case study report of not less than 2000 words covering the following items;
- Problem identification;
- Application of relevant theories;
- Application of analysis tools;
- Proposed solutions, conclusion and recommendations.
